Majun is a 100% natural product without added sugar, additives and preservatives with a characteristic smell and sweet-sour taste. Grape malt - Majun is a natural sweetener produced from grape juice and an excellent substitute for sucrose (white sugar).
Majun is a traditional and national Macedonian product that was used and mass-produced until the commercial sale of white sugar. It is obtained from high quality both white and red grape varieties. This product, which is used as food, is increasingly sought after as medicine. It is a natural antioxidant, contains grape sugar (glucose and fructose), is rich in water-soluble vitamins (B1, B2, B6 and C), minerals (K, Na, Ca, P, Fe), tannins, flavonoids and organic acids.
It is recommended to strengthen the immune system in children, convalescents, the elderly and athletes. It helps with colds and infections of the respiratory system, constipation, anemia, diseases of the cardiovascular system, and is especially recommended for people with impaired liver function due to chronic jaundice, alcoholism, cirrhosis and excessive use of drugs.
Use to increase immunity:
Children over 1 year – 1 small spoonful in a meal, in tea or in water every day
Adults - 1 large spoonful in a meal, in tea or in water twice a day
It can be used in the daily diet to sweeten tea, milk, muesli or as a topping on cakes and pastries.
The majun has an unlimited shelf life. Due to the presence of natural sugar, which quickly crystallizes, it can get a thick consistency, but when immersed in a bowl of hot water, it quickly returns to its original state.
